Dr. Zhiqiang Chen is the staff scientist and technique director of HPSTAR (Center for high pressure Science and Technology Advanced Research), Shanghai, China. Dr. Chen holds his BS and MS degree from Nanjing University and PhD degree in Materials science at New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA. He used to work at Brookhaven National Laboratory as a beamline scientist for crystallography research and synchrotron technology. Now Dr. Chen is mainly focus on studying the correlations between multiple physical/chemical properties and atomic structures of novel materials as nano-ceramics, nano-metals and MOFs. He has over 70 publications in PRL, PRB, APL, JCP, JMMM et al. and worked as the reviewer for tens of journals in Physics and Materials Science.
